Inside the Saint Peter and Paul Romanian Orthodox Church in Kayville, Saskatchewan there is a binder that contains information on 172 deaths and burials.  Some of the burials documented are in the cemetery by the church. Other burials are in the old cemetery that was beside the church when it was located northeast of the town.

St. Peter and Paul Church

Two Cemeteries

The binder that contains handwritten information on 172 deaths and burials roughly organized by death date.  53 of the burials are for the modern cemetery beside the church.  35 of the burials are for the old cemetery NE of Kayville, Saskatchewan.  Another 84 deaths are recorded where the dead may have been buried (probably in the old cemetery) unmarked or with grave markers that have since vanished.

I was able to use this book as a source when I documented about 20 people in my family tree.

See for Yourself

I was able to visit Saint Peter and Paul Romanian Orthodox Church and I photographed all of the pages in this binder. See this document in Kayville Burials (1910-2015)

Document Your Sources

You are probably a Genealogist if you have found this website so I shouldn't have to remind you about documenting your sources.  ...but document your sources.  You can read about my experience in the article entitled Sources.
